Camp Map - Camp Comstock is located at 1419 Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca, NY 14850. 140+ acres of land on Cayuga Lage in the Finger Lakes.
Health Lodge - Health Lodge is a newer cabin facility with three bedrooms that sleeps five with cots, and eight with mattresses on the floor. It has a wood stove, electricity, microwave and dorm-sized refrigerator. There is a bathroom with flush toilet and shower inside the cabin. No water or heat during Winter Availability.
Main Lodge - A central meeting place for visitors to gather and enjoy the lakefront. A commercial kitchen is available as part of the reservation. There is a handicap use toilet within the building and latrines nearby. A large stone fireplace and front and back porches. No water or heat during Winter Availability.
Mala Yousafazai Lodge - This is the newest cabin at Comstock, built in 2019 and sitting right on the waterfront by the Main Lodge. The Malala Yousafazai Lodge sleeps 8 bunk beds in two side rooms which connect to a meeting room in the middle. The cabin has electricity but no heat or water.
Historic Bailiwick Lodge - Bailiwick is a truly special gem for the GSNYPENN council. In addition to that history, Bailiwick is the only building that is fully heated with water available year-round. Bathrooms are in an outhouse near the building, showers are available at the Shower House outside of Winter Availability.
Village Units - Comstock’s village units are the most unique camping experience on any of our properties and are the main sleeping option while at camp. Each of the units is built on stilts along the hillside—with a connecting deck between all of the cabins. The units all have electricity, a pavilion with a refrigerator, picnic tables, and a fire circle. Laura Ingalls Wilder is wheelchair accessible and built over a stream. Susan B. Anthony is close to the Main Lodge and Health Lodge. No water or heat during Winter Availability.
Windjammer Unit - In five lean-to buildings, 18 campers can enjoy a rustic camping experience at the southern end of the shore line. Windjammer’s lengthy shoreline gives ample space for fishing and exploring. Bathrooms are available at the south Shower House near the Main Lodge. No water or heat during Winter Availability.
Water Front Lake Cayuga - Comstock’s waterfront is at the base of the hill in front of Main Lodge. Fishing poles are available for rental. Fishing is allowed off of the shoreline to the right or left of the docks—but not in the swim area. A lifeguard is required when swimming or boating, and a small craft-certified boating instructor is needed to use the boats.
Merrywoman Tent Unit - The only platform tent unit on Comstock is in the woods towards the top of the hill. Seven tents each holding four cots surround a pavilion with tables, fire circles, and a latrine. This entire unit is unavailable during Winter Availability.
Archery/ Hatchet Throwing - Archery is down the trails near Windjammer. Equipment is kept in the shed near the range and will be unlocked during your rental time. An archery facilitator is required to use the area and we do ask that you clean up the range when finished with your usage.
